CLIENT LIST & PROJECT SYNOPSIS

 

  • SKANSKA USA, NJ

  • Tiger wrote the Health and Safety plan for the removal of approximately 3400 square feet of soil contaminated with a pesticide (dieldrin) under 6" of concrete flooring. Trenches were excavated to about 4'-6' deep and 2'-3' wide. The area was contained and monitored by TEI for ambient air levels of dust, dieldrin and volatile organics. TEI conducted daily assessments to determine which proper engineering controls and PPE were to be utilized.

  • HOVENSA, LLC

  • For 1.5 years, Tiger supported the Industrial Hygiene staff at a 2000 acre refinery, it being the largest refinery in the Western hemisphere, 8th in the world. Air Monitoring for over 35 chemicals, complete with lab results and notifications, ergonomics training and improvements, mold assessments which included testing and recommendations, member of the Hazwopper Team and Fire Brigade and Training. Ascertained and approved/disapproved MSDS's, tested tanks for the first entry, conducted daily dust monitoring and emergency response to chemical releases.

  • GROUND ZERO - WORLD TRADE CENTER, NYC

  • Due to Tiger Environmental' s diligent and exceptional reputation, they were chosen for the monitoring and abatement of the contaminated surrounding buildings of the Twin Towers. Tiger has been monitoring the adjacent areas since the onset of the catastrophe of the September 11, 2001 incident. Tiger has also provided on-site fit testing for respiratory protection.

  • SORDONI CONSTRUCTION COMPANY

  • Tiger has provided Sardoni/Skanska with air monitoring services on a continual and on-going basis. Sordoni/Skanska engages Tiger to perform air monitoring whenever their construction activities involve excavating or disturbing soil which is either known to be, or suspected of being contaminated. Sordoni Skanska has also relied on Tiger's air monitoring ability to protect worker's health and safety when entering potentially hazardous confined spaces.

  • JACOBS ENGINEERING

  • Jacobs Engineering recently celebrated having worked two million man-hours without any lost-time accidents on a major construction project at Merck Pharmaceuticals in Rahway, New Jersey. Since the project's conception, Tiger has lent their expertise in matters ranging from air monitoring to OSHA compliance. Tiger continues to perform health and safety oversight on the project, helping Jacobs Engineering remain a leader in construction and industrial safety.

  • BROOKLYN NAVY YARD - NY STUDIOS

  • Tiger has participated in renovating and regenerating the Brooklyn Navy Yard facility into the very exciting New York Studios. We have been involved in air monitoring for heavy metals, asbestos, and on-site health and safety oversight since the inception of the ongoing project.

  • GPU NUCLEAR - OYSTER CREEK NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION

  • During the 1994 outage (bi-annual reactor shutdown), GPU conducted a complete asbestos survey and abatement of the Reactor #2 Building. The project required immediate analytical results to meet GPU's aggressive maintenance schedule. TIGER provided a turnkey asbestos survey and air-monitoring program that met the needs of GPU. The key ingredient to our success at Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station was an on-site laboratory assembled and staffed by TIGER personnel. Bulk asbestos samples were read by polarized light microscopy on-site and air samples were read by phase contrast microscopy on site.

  • AT&T/LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES - WHIPPANY FACILITY

  • The Lucent Technologies' Whippany facility consists of a 1.6 million square foot business campus that houses research and development together with administrative departments. A central plant heating and cooling system serves multiple buildings. The company is committed to an aggressive site wide retrofit program to eliminate all damaged ACM and lead based paint materials before the year 2000. TIGER provides all third party air monitoring at this facility and has held this exclusive contract for the last three years. In an effort to reduce the costs associated with the routine maintenance of ACM, TIGER conducted the necessary sampling and provided the required documentation for a negative assessment to OSHA for the work being performed. This negative assessment cut the required air sampling effort at the facility by 95 percent.

  • PEUGEOT MOTORS - NE, UNITED STATES PARTS DISTRIBUTION WAREHOUSE

  • Peugeot Motors purchased this facility in the early 1970's under the assumption that the buildings were asbestos free. The company entered into negotiations to sell the Lyndhurst facility and discovered large quantities of asbestos containing building materials (ACBM). The costs associated with the abatement included closure of the facility and relocation of its office staff for 25% of 1996. Posturing for cost recovery litigation, RTP Environmental was retained to oversee all abatement and provide expert testimony if necessary. TIGER Environmental was hired by RTP to oversee all activities performed during the abatement, and to conduct third party air monitoring.

  • US ARMY, PICATINNY ARSENAL - ROCKAWAY, NJ

  • US Army Research and Development and Engineering Center (USARDC) is a 6,500 acre facility located in Morris County. We serve the Arsenal with Air Monitoring Services on a Maintenance contract. While their maintenance employees remove asbestos, we provide full scale monitoring with on site PCM analysis. In addition, TIGER Environmental has completed Management Plans with Operations and Maintenance procedures for over 900 buildings.

  • SUPERFUND SITE - CORNELL DUBILIER, SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ

  • Provided on site health and Safety monitoring during remedial clean up activities. Clean up involved capping soil and fencing the perimeter of the property that was contaminated with PCB's, lead and cadmium. Ensured compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

  • HESS OIL, PORT READING, NJ

  • Provide continuous on site USEPA Asbestos Inspections and Lead and Asbestos Air Monitoring on an as needed basis.

  • JOINT INSURANCE FUND, NJ

  • Created an Ergonomics Training Program for municipalities to reduce work related injuries. Training included on site instruction for several different municipality organizations, such as the Police Department, Office of Sanitation, Office of Public Works, Department of Transportation, and Office Personnel. The Training Agenda covered preventing injuries by utilizing proper work techniques and exercise strategies used to reduce possible muscle strain.

  • RITE AID PHARMACIES, PA

  • The Rite Aid Corporation had aggressively expanded their serviceability throughout the United States. We have provided a full range of asbestos and lead services ranging from surveys to abatement, and monitoring. All work provided for this contract was being done in accordance with Rite Aid/USEPA Protocol. Our services have been utilized throughout the five boroughs of New York City, Long Island and throughout Northern and Central New Jersey.

  • CITY OF NEWARK

  • Tiger participated in an environmental assessment for all Public building in the City of Newark. Areas of concern were addressed with recommendations with follow up monitoring.

  • HUDSON VALLEY ENVIRONMENTAL, POINT PLEASANT, NJ -SUPERSTORM SANDY PROJECT

  • In October of 2012, The Jersey Shore was ravaged by Superstorm Sandy, leaving countless homes and businesses destroyed. In an effort to help resurrect our local beach towns, Hudson Valley Environmental bid and won the job for the demolition and removal of the already destroyed homes and buildings. Tiger Environmental was hired for Air Safety Monitoring for dust and asbestos during the demolition and removal of the rubble.

  • PHILLIPS 66 BAYWAY REFINERY

  • Tiger Environmental has provided a variety of environmental consultation services to the refinery for over 15 years. These services include: Regulation compliance and guidance, Health and Safety, Hex-Chrome Air Monitoring, ACM Surveys, Asbestos Air Monitoring and Lead Air Monitoring.
